|  | Please help! My hamster is urinating blood!

Hey all! Don't mean to be gross in the subject, but he IS in fact peeing blood! I have a male teddy bear hamster who is 2 1/2 years old. I saw he had fleas yesterday from my dog, so I took him to the sink to bathe him (I know that's not good to bathe him but I didn't have any other flea spray stuff at the time and the vet said it would be o.k.) So I started bathing him and he stopped squirming to pee and he peed blood! I haven't checked to see if he is still doing it, he seems to be healthy otherwise. I know what to do about the fleas but could anyone please help me with the blood urinating? Thanks!
